We all have our morning routines. My daily regimen includes an assortment of personal care products, including shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, a little bit of makeup; about a dozen products a day, which is exactly the national average for women in the U.S. In the process, women like me are exposed to more than 160 chemicals (men about half that), most of which would be considered unnecessary but “safe,” however, many others are well known toxins, carcinogens and pollutants.
Typical ingredients include things like bacteria-killing nanosilvers; 1,4 Dioxane (known cancer causing substance found in 22 percent of personal care and children’s products); Mercury and cow placenta (icky for sure, and chock-filled with hormones that can spark premature breast development in toddler girls) — the kind of substances that would earn you serious prison time if you dumped them into a local stream.

Judge Lets Sony Unmask Visitors to PS3-Jailbreaking Site
By David Kravets
A federal magistrate is granting Sony the right to acquire the internet IP addresses of anybody who has visited PlayStation 3 hacker George Hotz’s website from January of 2009 to the present.
Thursday’s decision by Magistrate Joseph Spero to allow Sony to subpoena Hotz’s web provider (.pdf) raises a host of web-privacy concerns.
Respected for his iPhone hacks and now the PlayStation 3 jailbreak, Hotz is accused of breaching the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other laws after he published an encryption key and software tools on his website that allow Playstation owners to gain complete control of their consoles from the firmware on up.

Hacks,
Technology
By Brian X. Chen
George Hotz, famously known as the first hacker to unlock the iPhone, says he’s done it again. The whiz kid on Thursday evening said he had cooked up a new hack for all iPhone OS devices, and he’s betting it will work on the iPad, too.
When the hack is released (Hotz won’t disclose a release date), it should be as simple to use as Blackra1n, Hotz’s one-click solution to jailbreak current iPhones, he said.
“It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models (ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too,” Hotz said in his blog post.

MADISON, Wis. — Everything from taking away computers to denying a year of service in the state retirement system was considered to punish the 14 Wisconsin Democrats who fled to Illinois for three weeks to block passage of a bill taking away union bargaining rights, newly released emails show.
Members of Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald’s staff bounced ideas off one another and the Legislature’s attorneys for days about how to penalize the Senate Democrats for leaving and pressure them to return, according to records released Wednesday by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.
The watchdog group obtained the emails from Fitzgerald’s office under Wisconsin’s open records law.

Building credit from ground up is not an easy task. But with a little education, discipline, and direction, you can build triple A credit within a two-year duration. When you start building from scratch, it could be challenging because you do not have a history that demonstrates your payment pattern. If you are rebuilding after foreclosure or bankruptcy, you will face an uphill battle because of your not so perfect history. In this article, I will disclose to you three proven strategies that you can use to start the building or repairing process.
Building credit strategy 1 – Using Retail Store Cards
This method is good if you are building for the first time. Retail cards like those at Macy’s and JCPenny’s are easier to get than a Visa or Master card. The reason the retail cards are easier to get is because they grant lower limits and the card is tied to merchandise in their store only. Apply for a card and then make your payments on time for six months. Pull your bureau report and check your payment history.
